Márk is a principal and joined PortfoLion in 2019.

Mark focuses on early stage investing in various verticals from Seed to Series B stages. He is particularly interested in FinTech, but has experience in Cybersecurity, Supply Chain Technology and HealthTech as well. Mark is also one of our in-house champions of being more thesis-driven.

Before joining Portfolion he was working in BlackRock’s global fundamental fixed income portfolio management group. He graduated with a Master’s in Finance from Corvinus University, earned a Mater’s in Management in the CEMS program at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and currently he is a level III candidate in the CFA program.

Márk loves to travel, especially with his significant other. To stay active, he runs, skis and plays squash with his friends in his free time. He played ice hockey for 9 years.
