László Vécsei

After graduating at the University of Veterinary Science, Budapest Laszlo studied marketing management and farm financial management at Harper Adams Agricultural University UK, then poultry management at University of Connecticut USA.

For a few years he worked for an American-Hungarian joint-venture as veterinarian and technical serviceman for poultry industry in Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and Northern Africa.

From 2000 Laszlo had various management positions in agricultural companies and food industry. He has managed several acquisitions, restructuring, rationalizing and exits.

He joined the PortfoLion team in 2023 as investment director. His task -in cooperation with the Green Fund team- is searching for new potential investments and managing the existing portfolio.

He spends his free time with his 4 kids outdoor, hunting, fishing, gardening and travelling. He is interested in gastronomy.
