Botond Németh

Botond joined PortfoLion during the summer of 2020. Since then, he has mainly worked in the Green Fund on agricultural and food processing investment opportunities and portfolio companies. Working in our Green Fund, he also occasionally participates in the investment processes connected to startups and more mature companies.

Botond graduated in 2017 on Corvinus University of Budapest as an economist with a degree in Corporate Finances. As a fresh graduate he gained experience as an M&A consultant in business and financial due diligence and transaction processes at various industries such as service, manufacturing, and food processing. After 3 years in consulting he transitioned to PortfoLion to begin his venture capital deep dive.

Botond spends most of his free time with friends, family, he is an enthusiastic swimmer and his passion is to spend his spare time in the nature.
